The bank transfer payment method enables you to save and invest on Cowrywise without the use of a debit card.
To create an investment plan without a debit card, here are the steps to follow;
On your home page, click on Invest (this is at the top of the screen on your homepage)
Select "Naira Mutual Funds" or "USD Mutual Funds"
Select your investment fund choice
Input the amount you want to invest and tap on "Invest now"
Select the "Bank transfer" payment option
Tap on "Generate Account"
Follow through with the instructions and transfer the amount from your bank account
Follow the process to complete creating the plan.
NB; The generated account number is to be transferred into within 60 minutes.
Once that is done you can thereafter top up your investment plan and invest more via bank transfers.
Here is how to top up your existing investment plan via bank transfer;
Click on "Invest" (this is at the top of the screen on your homepage)
Click on your investment plan
Click on "Invest More"
Input or choose the amount you want to invest
Select the "Bank Transfer" payment option
Tap on "Pay Amount"
Copy out the account number generated for you and make the transfer to from your bank account
Tap on "I have Paid"
The generated account number is to be transferred into within 60 minutes.
