Adding your BVN (Bank Verification Number) to your Cowrywise account is an essential step. However, if you encountered an 'invalid BVN' error message during the process, it indicates that the BVN you entered does not match the records.

Click on this link to visit the approved BVN validation portal on the NIBBS (Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System) website. This portal ensures the accuracy of BVN records.

On the BVN validation portal, please follow these steps:

  1. Enter your BVN and date of birth

  2. Click the search button.

  3. You will be required to pay a sum of N25 to proceed.

  4. Select a payment method that suits you.

  5. Your BVN record will be displayed.
