The presence of 2FA on your Cowrywise account indicates that you have an extra security measure in place. To complete a withdrawal if you have your 2FA set up, a code is required from the authenticator app you previously downloaded. This app generates unique codes that expire after a short period, ensuring enhanced security during withdrawals. If you are unsure which authenticator app you downloaded, don't worry. We will assist you in resolving the issue.
You can reset it if you did not download an authenticator app. To do this, please follow these steps:
Go to Profile and select Security.
Click the 2FA button to toggle it off
Enter your PIN
Select the “Yes, turn off 2FA” option
Enter the answers to your security questions
Then set it up again correctly.
