What does the error above mean?

This means that 3D secure authentication was attempted on the card, but your card isn't enrolled.

3DS also known as 3DSecure or 3-D Secure Authentication is an extra level of security to ensure that every transaction done with your card is authorized by the cardholder. This is put in place to reduce fraudulent activities for Card Not Present (CNP) transactions.

What can you do about it?

You need to reach out to your bank to assist with having your card enrolled for 3DS.

In the interim, you can save via bank transfers. Please follow these steps to do this;

  1. Go to the said Plan

  2. Click on top-up

  3. Enter the amount, then on the payment method click switch and select bank transfer.

  4. A temporary account number will be generated for you.

  5. Proceed to make payment to the account number immediately as it expires after 20 minutes.
